Taliban Reports Recent Attacks on Pakistani Military Positions

The Taliban administration’s Deputy Spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense has announced that over the past 24 hours, Taliban forces have carried out several attacks against Pakistani military positions. According to him, 12 checkpoints were destroyed and 41 Pakistani soldiers were killed during these operations.

Siddiqullah Nasrat stated that these attacks took place in “various provinces,” but did not provide further details about the exact locations targeted. He added that these actions were in response to what he described as “Pakistan’s activities.”

He also mentioned that earlier today, in the Kuchlak area of Balochistan province, an attack was launched on a center of Pakistan’s Frontier Corps (FC), resulting in casualties among Pakistani soldiers. However, Pakistani officials have not yet issued any official statements regarding the incident.

Border tensions between the Taliban administration and Pakistan have escalated in recent months, occasionally leading to armed clashes along the Durand Line. The lack of transparency and absence of independent details about these events have heightened concerns over their security implications for residents of the border regions.
