New Health Center Opens in Samangan Village with Norwegian Support

A health center providing primary medical services has been inaugurated in the Robatak village of Samangan province, supported financially by Norway. According to Bakhtar News Agency, which operates under the Taliban administration, the center was opened on Thursday, March 4. Reportedly, the construction cost of the center was two million Afghanis. The facility comprises five rooms and is intended to deliver basic health services to local residents. It has been stated that over one thousand people have benefited from the center’s services so far. Establishing health centers in rural areas, where many regions face shortages of medical services, meets a fundamental need of local populations.
