Iraqi Islamic Resistance Carries Out 29 Drone and Missile Attacks in 24 Hours

The Iraqi Islamic Resistance announced that within the past 24 hours, it conducted 29 separate operations using dozens of drones and missiles against what it described as “enemy bases” in Iraq and the region. This news was reported by the Al-Alam Al-Harbi media outlet, with no additional details provided regarding casualties or possible damages.

Meanwhile, Qasim Al-Araji, Iraq’s National Security Advisor, held a phone conversation with Ali Bagheri, Deputy Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, discussing the latest regional developments. According to reports, both sides focused on exploring ways to contain tensions during the call.

Al-Araji emphasized that Baghdad continues its diplomatic efforts with various parties to prevent the escalation of the crisis, reduce tensions, and strengthen the dialogue process.

He also stated that Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani, Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, stressed the full implementation of the security agreement between the two countries and ordered measures to prevent the use of Iraqi territory for incursions into Iranian borders or armed operations. According to him, Iraqi officials are committed to preventing any actions contrary to this agreement.
