Israeli Forces Withdraw from Al-Khiyam Following Hezbollah Attacks

Hezbollah has announced that following several military operations, Israeli forces have withdrawn from the border town of Al-Khiyam in southern Lebanon. According to the group, during these clashes, the Ein Zetim base was also targeted. Regional media reports indicate that Hezbollah stated that after the fighting, Israeli forces transferred their remaining equipment and soldiers to the Al-Hammamoss Heights. The group emphasized that these operations inflicted casualties on Israeli forces, and the clashes continued until the statement was issued. Furthermore, Hezbollah declared that the Ein Zetim base, known as the command center for two military brigades in the northern city of Safed, was targeted by several drones. In a separate statement, Hezbollah said that the Rafael military industries complex south of the city of Acre was also targeted by drones. This company is involved in producing defense equipment. On Wednesday, Hezbollah had also reported a missile attack on Israeli forces in the Khaleh Wadi Al-Asafir area in the border town of Al-Khiyam. Tensions along Lebanon’s southern borders have escalated in recent months, with intermittent clashes continuing between the two sides.
