Afghanistan-Iran Border Crossings Fully Operational, Says Taliban Border Police

The spokesperson for the Taliban Ministry of Interior’s Border Police announced that all border crossings between Afghanistan and Iran are operating normally, with the movement of passengers and vehicles continuing smoothly. Abedullah Farouqi stated on Tuesday that activities at land borders are proceeding as usual, and the forces stationed at these points are ready to provide services to travelers and freight vehicle drivers. He added that today, a commercial train entered the country via the Khaf-Herat railway line. The Khaf-Herat railway is one of the key routes for transporting commercial goods between Afghanistan and Iran and has been used in recent years to facilitate trade between the two nations.
