Snow and Rain Forecasted in 10 Afghan Provinces Tomorrow

The Meteorological Department of the Taliban’s Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has announced that on Tuesday, March 2, snow and rain are expected in 10 provinces across the country.

According to the department’s forecast, the provinces of Farah, Ghor, Bamyan, Daykundi, Sar-e Pol, Balkh, Jowzjan, Faryab, Badghis, and Badakhshan will be affected by this weather system. Residents of these provinces are likely to experience varying levels of precipitation.

The department’s statement indicates that snowfall amounts in these areas are predicted to range between 10 to 20 centimeters, while rainfall is expected to be between 10 to 20 millimeters.

Additionally, relatively strong winds with speeds of 50 to 70 kilometers per hour are forecasted in some parts of the northwestern, western, and central provinces. The Meteorological Department has urged residents in these areas to take necessary safety precautions.
