Pakistani Shelling Hits Refugee Camp in Kunar, Killing and Injuring Five Children

In Khas Kunar district of Kunar province, a refugee camp was struck by gunfire from Pakistani military forces, resulting in five children being killed and injured. Local sources reported that the incident occurred around 10 a.m. in the Hijratabad area.

According to these sources, three children lost their lives while two others were wounded. The current health status of the injured children has not been officially disclosed.

Kunar province, located along the border with Pakistan, has witnessed similar clashes and shelling in past years. Residents of the region have repeatedly expressed concern over civilian casualties caused by border tensions.

Despite the recurrence of such incidents, the Taliban administration has yet to provide details on specific measures to prevent further attacks and ensure the safety of border area inhabitants.
