Over 100 Vessels from ‘Freedom’ and ‘Steadfast’ Fleets Set Sail Jointly Towards Gaza

The ‘Freedom’ and ‘Steadfast’ fleets have announced that, in a coordinated joint effort, more than 100 ships and boats will set sail on April 12 from the Mediterranean Sea towards the Gaza Strip. This initiative is part of ongoing maritime efforts to break the blockade of Gaza.

According to international media, the organizers of this naval campaign stated that anti-blockade initiatives have now entered a new phase, aiming to unify the fleets that previously operated independently.

In recent years, each of these fleets had independently dispatched ships and boats towards Gaza. Some of these missions faced interception and seizure by Israeli forces in the waters of the Mediterranean.

The Gaza Strip, located on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea, has long been subjected to severe land and sea restrictions. Organizers of this maritime movement say their goal is to draw global attention to the humanitarian situation in the region.
