Ansarallah Strongly Condemns Modi’s Visit to Israel, Accusing India of Aligning with Executioners

The Foreign Ministry of Yemen’s Ansarallah government has strongly condemned Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Israel, describing it as a sign of New Delhi’s retreat from its previous stance supporting the Palestinian cause.

In a statement, the ministry emphasized that standing alongside Israel means standing with the ‘executioner against the victim.’ The statement said Israel has committed some of the ‘most horrific genocidal crimes’ in the Gaza Strip, and this ongoing process continues.

According to the statement, over 72,000 people have been killed and 171,000 others wounded as a result of Israeli attacks. The Foreign Ministry of the Ansarallah-affiliated government added that while Israel faces global political isolation, India is seeking to move closer to it and expand cooperation.

The statement also criticized the provision of consular services by the United States embassy inside one of the illegal settlements in the West Bank. This move was described as an attempt to undermine the Palestinian cause and align with Tel Aviv’s policies.

The Ansarallah-affiliated government of Yemen stressed its continued support for the Palestinians and what it called the ‘legitimate struggle to reclaim rights and establish an independent Palestinian state.’
