Daikundi Residents Volunteer to Rebuild Miramoor-Ghazni Road, Including Active Participation of Women

Residents of Daikundi province have initiated a grassroots movement to reconstruct parts of the road between Miramoor district and Ghazni province. This volunteer effort features active involvement from women alongside men. According to local residents, damage to sections of this route in recent months has caused serious travel difficulties. They report that in some cases, patients have been unable to reach medical centers on time due to poor road conditions.
This road is one of the key communication routes between Daikundi and Ghazni, playing a vital role in patient transport, local trade, and daily travel. Residents emphasize that neglecting the maintenance of public infrastructure has forced them to take action themselves.
The participation of women in this volunteer campaign has been widely welcomed by the local community. They stress that improving the road conditions requires serious attention and practical measures from Taliban authorities to prevent residents of remote areas from continuing to face transportation and healthcare challenges.
