UNICEF Reports Over 47,000 Parents Participated in ‘Positive Parenting’ Program in 2025

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has announced that in 2025 more than 47,000 parents benefited from its “Positive Parenting” program, an initiative aimed at strengthening the relationship between parents and children.
On Monday, February 22, UNICEF posted on its X page that this program focuses on establishing healthy and effective communication among family members. According to the organization, the foundation of positive parenting lies in creating a close and constructive relationship between parents and their children.
The published information indicates that within the framework of this program, mothers learn skills such as playing with their children, storytelling, and constructive interaction techniques—skills that contribute to the mental development and psychological health of children.
UNICEF further stated that teaching these skills enables parents to provide a safer and warmer environment at home and fosters the formation of healthier relationships among family members.
