Northeast Afghan Residents Strongly Condemn Pakistan’s Airstrikes as Violations of International Law

Residents of northeastern Afghan provinces have strongly condemned recent airstrikes by Pakistan, labeling the actions as clear violations of international law and incursions into Afghan territory. They warn that continued attacks seriously threaten border area security and the lives of civilians.

According to these residents, conducting military operations within Afghan soil without regard for accepted international principles contradicts legal norms between countries and could lead to widespread political and security consequences.

They have urged the Taliban administration to adopt a clear and practical stance against what they describe as ‘aggression’ and to take measures to prevent such incidents from recurring. These demands have arisen at a time when the Taliban administration is recognized as responsible for securing the borders and protecting citizens, and it is expected to respond effectively to evolving security developments.
