Eight Students Killed in Pakistani Airstrike on Nangarhar’s Behsud District

Mansour Ahmad Hamza, spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, announced that eight school students were killed in an airstrike carried out by Pakistani military forces on Behsud district in Nangarhar province. According to him, the victims included five boys and three girls.
Hamza added that the incident specifically targeted school students, resulting in casualties among children. He did not provide further details regarding the exact timing or circumstances of the attack.
Meanwhile, in Bermal district of Paktika province, a school student was injured in a similar attack. The student’s current health condition has not yet been disclosed.
Nangarhar province, located in eastern Afghanistan, shares a border with Pakistan, and Behsud district is among its residential areas. In recent years, residents of these border regions have frequently suffered from conflicts and attacks along the border line.
