Date Palm Yield Rises in Nangarhar; Expansion of Orchards Underway
Officials from the Wadi Nangarhar Agricultural Company have announced that the date orchards in the Hadah Farm yield significant annual produce, with plans underway to establish new orchards. According to them, this initiative will be implemented in cooperation with private companies.
Based on information provided by the company, the goal of expanding the new date orchards is to increase domestic production and achieve a level of relative self-sufficiency in this sector. Officials state that once this plan is realized, the volume of date production in the province will rise.
They also emphasized that expanding date orchards can foster economic growth and create new job and income opportunities for residents and farmers.
