Cash and Food Aid Distributed to 3,443 Families in Faryab and Paktika Provinces

The Taliban’s Disaster Preparedness Directorate has announced the distribution of cash and food aid to 3,443 families in the provinces of Faryab and Paktika. According to the directorate, these aid packages were provided in cooperation with humanitarian organizations.

Based on the released statement, in the districts of Khancharbagh and Qaram Qul in Faryab province, 3,043 families received cash assistance amounting to 2,900 Afghanis each. The directorate added that the total cash aid reached 8,824,700 Afghanis, funded by a charitable organization from Hungary.

Simultaneously, the Afghan Red Crescent Society announced that in the Namatabad district of Paktika province, 400 needy families received 38.2 tons of food supplies.

Faryab in the north and Paktika in the southeast of the country are provinces where some inhabitants face economic hardships and a lack of livelihood resources. Humanitarian aid plays a vital role in alleviating daily pressures on vulnerable families in these areas.
