Head of Border Police Urges Fair and Respectful Treatment of Travelers

The Chief of the Border Police, Hezbollah Afghan, has stated that the forces of this department must uphold justice, respect, and honesty when dealing with travelers, migrants, traders, and drivers. He emphasized that citizens should observe an example of fair and humane behavior in the operations of the Border Police.
According to him, good behavior and ethics are considered the “true honor” of the border forces, and all personnel are obligated to provide necessary facilities for people within their areas of responsibility.
Afghanistan’s borders are among the most important crossings for citizen travel and trade exchanges. In recent years, reports have surfaced about complaints from travelers and traders at some border points; an issue that highlights the need for serious oversight and transparent handling by the Taliban administration.
Given the vital role of the borders in the country’s economy and the movement of thousands of residents, fulfilling these commitments can positively impact public trust and reduce the daily difficulties faced by citizens.
