Taliban Spokesman Accuses Pakistan of Attacking Residential Areas in Afghanistan

Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban administration spokesman, announced that airstrikes on certain areas of Afghanistan have targeted residential neighborhoods, resulting in civilian casualties.
Mujahid, in a message posted on his X page, stated that the incident occurred following the bombing of the mentioned areas and caused harm to non-combatants. He did not provide further details regarding the exact timing or the number of possible casualties.
The Taliban spokesman went on to accuse Pakistani generals of carrying out these attacks to compensate for what he described as “security weaknesses” within Pakistan. He characterized the action as an “invasion” of Afghan territory.
So far, Pakistani officials have not issued an official response to these allegations. Relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan have repeatedly faced challenges in recent years due to security tensions along their shared border regions.
