Two Pakistani Soldiers Killed in Suicide Bombing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Pakistani army has announced that two military personnel, including a colonel, were killed in a suicide bombing in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The incident occurred during an operation against armed militants in the Bannu area.

According to the army statement, a group of security forces came under a suicide bomb attack during the operation. As a result, two soldiers lost their lives, one of whom held the rank of colonel.

Following the attack, a firefight broke out between the security forces and the armed militants. The Pakistani army said that five militants were also killed during the exchange of fire.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, located in southern Pakistan, is considered one of the country’s insecure regions and has witnessed sporadic attacks against security forces in recent years.
