Gas Cylinder Explosion in Karachi Kills 13, Injures 14

A gas cylinder explosion in a residential building in the Rana Colony area of Soldier Bazaar, Karachi, Pakistan, has claimed the lives of 13 people and injured 14 others. The incident occurred on the first floor of the building, causing a partial collapse.

According to rescue sources, among the deceased is a young girl. The explosion was so powerful that the building’s ceiling caved in, inflicting damage on other parts of the structure.

Rescue officials have stated that two more people might be trapped under the rubble. Rescue teams are using specialized equipment to extract any possible survivors.

Eyewitnesses said the force of the blast shook nearby buildings, spreading panic throughout the area. Emergency responders and local authorities are present at the scene, and investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the explosion.
