Afghan Leader Marshal Dostum Calls for End to Oppression in Ramadan Message

Marshal Abdul Rashid Dostum, leader and founder of the National Islamic Movement of Afghanistan, extended his greetings to the Afghan people on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan. He expressed hope that with the end of oppression and hardships, the nation would be able to independently determine its destiny.
In his message, he described Ramadan as the month of God’s feast, a time for inner transformation and strengthening the faith of Muslims. He emphasized that this month can be a source of hope and tranquility for a society faced with widespread challenges. According to him, Ramadan is a time for prayer, acceptance of supplications, and enjoying divine blessings.
Referring to the current sufferings and challenges in the country, the leader of the National Islamic Movement of Afghanistan prayed for the Afghan people to overcome the difficult situation they are experiencing. This comes amid the return of Taliban administration to power, with citizens facing various social and economic restrictions and pressures.
Dostum also stressed the necessity of maintaining unity and solidarity among all segments of society, stating that decisive changes are on the horizon. He concluded his message by asserting: “Oppression does not last, and the future belongs to our nation.”
