30 New Homes Provided for Returning Families in Bamyan

Officials from the Department of Urban Development and Housing in Bamyan province announced that 30 newly returned families in the province’s Refugee Town have received newly constructed houses. These homes were built with financial support from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and were handed over to those in need.
According to officials, a total of 132,000 US dollars was spent on this project. The cost of constructing each residential unit was reported to be 4,400 US dollars.
Each house includes two rooms, a hallway, a kitchen, and two bathrooms. These houses were built in the special Refugee Town area of Bamyan to provide sustainable housing for returning families.
Bamyan, located in the central region of the country, has hosted a number of returning families in recent years, and providing shelter for them remains a fundamental need.
