Pakistan Reports Rising Insecurity in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amid Allegations Against India

Pakistan’s Interior Minister has announced that insecurity in the provinces of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has escalated, with security incidents occurring on a daily basis. He further accused India of being involved in recent terrorist attacks in these two provinces.

Mohsin Naqvi, speaking at a press conference in Lahore, said the security situation in some areas of these provinces is alarming. According to him, the Indian government is behind the recent attacks; an allegation that Indian authorities have not publicly responded to so far.

In the latest incident, a car bomb exploded in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, resulting in the deaths of 11 Pakistani soldiers. This attack has been described as one of the bloodiest recent events in the region.

Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are among Pakistan’s most insecure provinces, having witnessed activity from armed groups and sporadic attacks in recent years.
