Three-Day Local Products Exhibition Held in Kunduz to Boost Domestic Industry

A three-day exhibition showcasing local products has been held in Kunduz province, organized in coordination with the Kunduz Department of Industry and Commerce and initiated by a private company. The event featured 40 booths displaying women’s handicrafts, agricultural products, and other domestic goods.
The organizer stated that the purpose of the exhibition is to introduce local products to citizens. According to them, the program aims to create marketing opportunities for traders and the private sector to increase the presence of domestic products in the market.
Several artisans and vendors participating in the exhibition consider such events as valuable opportunities to grow their businesses.
Meanwhile, some participants urged the country’s residents to support local products instead of relying on imported goods. Ziarat Gul, one of the participants, said that using domestic products can help the economy grow and strengthen the country’s artisans.
Officials and attendees of the exhibition emphasized that continuing such programs plays an important role in the development of handicrafts and the improvement of the economic conditions of artisans in Kunduz — a province whose residents have faced significant economic challenges in recent years.
