Five-Day Kabul Building Expo Concludes with $10 Million in Contracts Signed

The third international five-day exhibition on construction, reconstruction, and building affairs in Kabul concluded with contracts worth $10 million signed between domestic and foreign companies.

Mohammad Saber Latifi, head of Afghanistan’s International Exhibition Center, announced that these contracts were signed during the event among participating companies. He stated that the exhibition provided a platform to showcase the capacities of the construction sector and to establish direct connections between investors.

Several Afghan industry professionals present at the event described the current conditions in the country as favorable for investment in the building and production sectors. They urged Afghan investors residing abroad to return and invest inside the country, contributing to economic growth and job creation.

Specialized building exhibitions are among the programs aimed at strengthening the private sector, attracting investment, and developing infrastructure in the country; a sector that plays an important role in employment generation and economic revitalization.
