Israeli Attorney General Files Multiple Spy Cases Amid Rising Espionage Claims

The Hebrew-language newspaper Maariv has reported that the Israeli Attorney General has issued a series of indictments against individuals arrested on espionage charges. According to the report, dozens of people are under judicial prosecution in connection with these cases.

Maariv writes that Israeli officials have claimed the detainees were conducting intelligence activities on behalf of Iran. These allegations have been made by Israeli security agencies, though no further details or evidence have been disclosed.

Israeli security circles have stated that most of these individuals were recruited via cyberspace and assigned various missions. According to these sources, some of the detainees engaged in photographing and filming events and internal developments in different regions.

Previously, Israeli security sources had warned about what they described as the “expansion of the espionage network.” This issue has become a central topic of discussion within the country’s political and security circles in recent months.
