Iran’s Foreign Minister Arrives in Geneva Seeking Fair and Balanced Agreement

Iran’s Foreign Minister has announced that he has arrived in Geneva with the goal of reaching a “fair and balanced agreement” and emphasized that surrendering to threats is not part of his country’s agenda.
On Monday, Seyyed Abbas Araqchi wrote on a social media platform that during this trip, he will meet with Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), accompanied by Iranian nuclear experts. According to him, the meeting will focus on reviewing “precise technical” issues.
He also reported that before the start of diplomatic talks with the United States, scheduled for Tuesday, he will meet with Oman’s Foreign Minister, Badr al-Busaidi. Oman has played a mediating role in several regional and international dialogues in recent years.
The Iranian Foreign Minister stressed that he has come to Geneva with “genuine initiatives” to achieve a balanced agreement and stated that Tehran’s approach is based on dialogue but does not include acceptance of pressure and threats.
