Saudi Arabia Donates 100 Tons of Dates to Afghanistan Ahead of Ramadan

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) has donated 100 tons of dates to the Afghan Red Crescent Society ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, to be distributed among needy families across the country.

This aid was officially handed over to the Afghan Red Crescent Society in a formal ceremony attended by Hafez Azizurrahman, Deputy Head of the Afghan Red Crescent Society; Ali Mohammed Al-Hassan, Deputy Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Afghanistan; and Fahad Saad Al-Qahtani, Director of the King Salman Center.

The Deputy Head of the Afghan Red Crescent Society expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s ongoing support, stating that the kingdom has stood by the Afghan people during difficult times. He assured that the received aid will be distributed transparently through the organization’s mechanisms across various regions.

Meanwhile, the Saudi Deputy Ambassador emphasized that his country will continue supporting the Afghan people under all circumstances, and that Riyadh’s humanitarian efforts will not only continue but also expand.
