National Hajj Committee Meets to Discuss Timely Transfer of Pilgrims

The National Hajj and Umrah Committee held a meeting chaired by Mawlawi Abdulsalam Hanafi, Administrative Deputy to the Prime Minister, to discuss the timely transfer of pilgrims and the organization of flight schedules.
At the meeting, Sheikh Noor Mohammad Thaqib, Acting Minister of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments of the Taliban administration, presented a report on preparations for the transfer of Afghan pilgrims to the Holy Kaaba. According to him, planning to send teachers to instruct pilgrims on the rituals of Hajj and arranging flight times were among the main focuses of these preparations.
Based on the information provided, decisions were made at the end of the meeting regarding the timely transfer of pilgrims, precise scheduling of flights, and improving services for the pilgrims. However, no specific details were disclosed about how these decisions will be implemented, the level of operational readiness, or oversight of the public service delivery process.
In previous years, several families have consistently emphasized the need for greater transparency in the registration, transfer, and service provision processes for pilgrims. It is expected that the Taliban administration will share clearer information on these matters with the public ahead of the Hajj season.
