Germany Transfers 47 Afghan Citizens from Pakistan Under Federal Admission Program

German media, citing the country’s Ministry of Interior, have reported that 47 Afghan citizens who were awaiting immigration case reviews in Pakistan have arrived in Berlin under Germany’s federal admission program.

According to these reports, the individuals received permission to transfer to Germany after completing the necessary legal procedures and documentation. It is said that they had been residing in Pakistan for an extended period, waiting for their case reviews to be finalized.

This transfer comes despite Germany having previously announced a suspension of the federal admission program. Nevertheless, in recent weeks, a number of Afghan citizens whose legal processes had been completed were transferred to Germany.

Germany’s federal admission program was established following political developments in Afghanistan to facilitate the relocation of certain at-risk individuals to the country.
