World Leaders Send Congratulations on Iran’s National Day and Revolution Anniversary

As Iran’s National Day and the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution approach, several regional and global leaders have sent official messages of congratulations to Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran.
According to international media reports, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, sent a message congratulating the Iranian president on this occasion. Additionally, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, also commemorated the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in a separate message.
The Secretary-General of the United Nations extended official congratulations to the president and people of Iran on their National Day, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and international cooperation to address global challenges. António Guterres described national days as moments to reflect on a country’s historical path and its role in the international community.
Referring to the complex current world situation, he highlighted urgent international challenges such as ending wars, preventing new conflicts, combating the climate crisis, reducing inequalities, and responsibly managing emerging technologies. According to him, strengthening multilateralism and joint cooperation is essential to achieving lasting peace, development, and the safeguarding of human rights.
India’s Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar also shared a congratulatory message on the social media platform X, wishing success to the Iranian government and people.
Asif Ali Zardari, President of Pakistan, sent a separate congratulatory message on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution to Iran’s leaders, emphasizing the historic, cultural, and geographical ties between Tehran and Islamabad. He described these relations as deep-rooted and expanding.
Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, in an official message, congratulated Iran on this day and underscored the special importance his country places on developing bilateral cooperation. He referred to the broadening scope of topics discussed in the two countries’ relationship and the implementation of joint projects.
Iran’s National Day is celebrated annually on the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979, with various countries sending official messages of congratulations on the occasion.
