Protests Erupt in Washington Against Netanyahu’s Visit Amid His Arrival

As Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime, traveled to the United States, a group of protesters in Washington staged demonstrations against him. These protests took place as his convoy passed through the US capital.

According to Al Mayadeen network, several American Jews participated in the gathering, voicing criticism against Netanyahu’s policies and positions through chants. Some addressed him directly, saying, “You are a Zionist, not a Jew.”

Protesters also held placards emphasizing that “Israel is not a Jewish state” and “Israel does not represent Jews worldwide.” These slogans reflected a segment of critical views within the American Jewish community regarding the Israeli government’s actions.

Netanyahu arrived in Washington on Tuesday and is scheduled to meet with US President Donald Trump today, Wednesday. Before leaving the occupied territories, he told reporters that the discussion would cover the situation in Gaza and regional developments.

He also stated that the issue of Iran is a priority in his talks with the US president and claimed he would present principles regarding how to negotiate with Iran, which he said are important for peace and security in the Middle East.
