US Military Strikes Another Vessel in Eastern Pacific Over Drug Trafficking Suspicion

The United States Southern Command announced it has launched another attack on a vessel in the eastern Pacific Ocean, citing intelligence reports that linked the vessel to drug trafficking activities.
According to the command, intelligence indicated that those aboard the vessel were involved in narcotics trade. US officials did not disclose further details about the type of drugs or the smuggling route, describing the operation as part of their anti-drug trafficking efforts.
The Southern Command confirmed that two individuals were killed in the attack while one was rescued. The military stated that the targeted individuals were connected to drug trafficking networks.
Meanwhile, based on estimates from CBS News, the US military has destroyed dozens of vessels off Latin American coasts in recent months under the banner of combating drug smuggling, resulting in the deaths of more than 100 people. Human rights organizations have strongly criticized these actions, labeling them extrajudicial executions and even war crimes.
