Putin: Eurasian Integration a Top Priority in Russia’s Foreign Policy

Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that developing relations with neighboring countries and advancing Eurasian integration form the core of Moscow’s foreign policy.
According to Russian media, Putin made these remarks during a meeting with his country’s diplomats, emphasizing that the diplomatic corps must utilize all available capacities and tools with maximum efficiency to ensure national security and defend Russia’s legitimate interests.
He also highlighted the importance of shaping a realistic image of Russia in the global public opinion and added that cooperation and partnership with other countries are essential for establishing a multipolar international order.
Referring to the growing instability and turmoil in global relations, the Russian president said that diplomacy’s role is more crucial than ever under these circumstances and urged Russian diplomats to take a more active role in managing international developments.
