Death Toll in Israeli Attacks on Gaza Rises to Over 72,000, Thousands Still Missing
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported that the number of victims of Israeli military attacks on the enclave since October 7, 2023, has reached 72,037, with 171,666 others injured.
In a recent statement, the ministry announced that in the past few hours alone, the bodies of five victims were transferred to hospitals, and five others were injured as a result of the attacks.
According to the provided information, thousands of Gaza residents remain missing, and it is believed that many are trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings— a situation that has severely complicated rescue and relief operations.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health also stated that since the ceasefire was established on October 11, 2025, an additional 586 people have died, and 1,558 have been injured. During this period, the bodies of 717 victims were also recovered from under the debris.
