Military Helicopter Crashes in South Korea, Killing Two Soldiers

South Korean military officials have reported the crash of an Army helicopter that resulted in the deaths of at least two service members.

According to authorities, the helicopter, an AH-1S Cobra, went down around 11 a.m. local time in an area approximately 55 kilometers northeast of Seoul, the capital of South Korea.

The incident occurred during a training exercise involving an emergency landing. So far, there have been no reports of fire or explosion following the helicopter crash.

South Korean military officials have announced the formation of a special investigative committee to determine the precise cause of the accident. The findings will be shared with the media once the investigation is complete.
