Man Beheaded in Helmand’s Marjah District Amid Security Concerns

Local sources in Helmand province report that unknown assailants beheaded a 40-year-old man in Marjah district. The incident occurred on Monday evening, the 19th of Dalw, around 8 p.m. in a desert area related to the fifth zone of the district. According to sources, the victim, named Habibullah, was attacked while on his way home. So far, the motive behind the killing and the identity of the perpetrators remain unknown. This event takes place as the Taliban administration continually claims to provide nationwide security. However, the occurrence of such violent incidents in districts and remote areas raises serious questions about the security situation and the ability of responsible authorities to protect local residents.
