15 Stolen Motorcycles Recovered in Herat, Suspect Arrested by Taliban Police

The Taliban’s Ministry of Interior has announced that the police of the third security district in the city of Herat recovered 15 stolen motorcycles during search operations and arrested a suspect involved in the thefts.
According to the ministry, the arrested individual was professionally engaged in stealing residents’ vehicles in the areas under the jurisdiction of the third security district.
The statement added that the suspect is currently under investigation and will be referred to judicial authorities after the completion of preliminary inquiries.
Herat, a western province of Afghanistan, has seen residents frequently complain about the rise in urban thefts in recent years—an issue that calls for effective and transparent security measures from relevant authorities to ensure public safety.
