Four Arrested in Nangarhar for Selling Dead Chickens

The Nangarhar police command, operating under Taliban administration, announced the arrest of four individuals in the jurisdiction of the province’s first security district. According to the police, these individuals were preparing dead and underage chickens at a waste site for sale in the market.
Based on the information provided, these chickens were reportedly to be sold to some residents and certain restaurants. The police stated that this act could have seriously endangered public health.
During the operation, police forces confiscated approximately 1,800 dead and substandard chickens from the detained individuals.
So far, no further details have been released regarding the fate of the detainees or the judicial process under the Taliban’s justice system.
