Afghan Embassy Chargé d’Affaires in Oman Meets with Indian Ambassador to Discuss Bilateral Relations

The Embassy of Afghanistan in Oman announced that Hafiz Umar, the chargé d’affaires of the Afghan embassy in Muscat, held a meeting and discussion with Ghodavarthi Venkata Srinivas, the Indian ambassador to Oman.
According to the released information, the main focus of the meeting was to review the political, economic, and trade relations between Afghanistan and India. Both sides exchanged views on the state of cooperation and ways to strengthen engagements between Kabul and New Delhi.
During the session, Hafiz Umar called for greater cooperation from the Indian government to facilitate visa issuance for Afghan nationals residing in Oman—a matter that would ease travel, family connections, and commercial activities for these individuals.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties emphasized the continuation and enhancement of long-term bilateral cooperation and assured that efforts to develop relations between Afghanistan and India across various levels would persist.
