Taliban Ministry Reports Seizure of Narcotics and Arrest of Eight in Kabul

The Taliban Ministry of Interior has announced that during anti-drug police operations in Kabul city, approximately 38,000 narcotic pills and 23 kilograms of hashish were discovered and confiscated, and eight individuals were arrested in connection with the case.

According to the ministry, these operations took place in Kabul police districts 4, 15, and 17; areas identified by security agencies as potential routes for drug trafficking.

The Ministry of Interior added that initial investigations into the detained individuals are ongoing, and upon completion, the suspects will be handed over to the judicial authorities.
