Pakistan’s Information Minister Blames PTI for Resurgence of Terrorism

Attaullah Tarar, Pakistan’s Information Minister, accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party led by Imran Khan of being the main force behind the resurgence of insecurity and terrorist activities in the country. He made these remarks during a press conference in Lahore.

At the conference, he emphasized that terrorists are not affiliated with any particular religion or sect. According to him, their ideology is solely focused on instilling fear and spreading terror within society.

The Pakistani Information Minister also claimed that the mastermind behind the bomb attack on a Shia mosque in Islamabad is an Afghan national, who is currently among the detained individuals. He did not provide further details but stated that this was part of ongoing investigations by the country’s security agencies.

Attaullah Tarar further said that the Pakistani government is determined to pursue and eliminate terrorists wherever they are. He stressed that the fight against terrorism will continue to ensure the security of the country’s citizens.
