Traffic Accident in Badakhshan Claims 15 Lives Including Women and Children

A traffic accident in Arghanjkhwa district of Badakhshan province has resulted in the deaths of 15 people, including women and children, with three others injured. Ehsanullah Kamgar, spokesperson for the Badakhshan police command, stated that the incident occurred on Saturday afternoon in the Sandara area, where a Flyincoach vehicle veered off the road due to poor road conditions and plunged into a ravine. Among the victims were six children and five women. The severity of the incident highlights the serious dangers posed by the poor state of roads in several districts of Badakhshan. Kamgar added that the injured were transported to Badakhshan provincial hospital where they are receiving treatment, and their health status is reported to be improving.
