Afghan Consul General in Mashhad Meets Head of Khorasan Razavi Immigration Office

The Afghan Consulate in Mashhad has announced that Noor Mohammad Motawakel, the Afghan Consul General, met with Jafar Seyedabadi, the Head of the Department of Foreign Nationals and Refugees in Khorasan Razavi Province of the Islamic Republic of Iran. During the meeting, they discussed creating a suitable working environment to better and more easily implement the special identity verification process in the relevant foreign nationals’ affairs offices, a procedure essential for organizing identity documents of refugees. The two sides also talked about effective ways to address the problems faced by Afghan migrants and improve coordination among related agencies, aiming to deliver administrative services with greater order and better accessibility. This meeting comes at a time when a large number of Afghan migrants reside in Khorasan Razavi Province, and coordination between Afghan representatives and relevant Iranian institutions plays a crucial role in managing their daily affairs.
