New Naqib Hospital in Herat Opens to Provide Specialized Medical Services

The Herat provincial administration has announced the inauguration of the Naqib hospital, constructed at a cost of 79 million Afghanis in the province. This facility aims to offer specialized health services to the residents of Herat.
At the hospital’s opening ceremony, Sheikh Maulana Islamjar, the Taliban-appointed governor of Herat, emphasized the need to elevate doctors’ scientific knowledge and improve the quality of hospital services. He stated that investing in the medical sector can play a vital role in meeting the healthcare needs of the people.
According to local sources, Naqib hospital is a five-story building, constructed to standard specifications and equipped with necessary medical equipment. Officials from the center say that with the start of its operation, patients in Herat will have access to specialized and high-quality health services.
