Nine International Airlines Currently Flying to Afghanistan, Talks Underway for Direct Kabul Flights to Moscow and Muscat

The Taliban’s Ministry of Transport and Aviation has announced that currently nine international airlines operate flights to various destinations in Afghanistan.
According to the ministry, plans and discussions are ongoing to establish direct flights between Kabul and Moscow as well as Kabul and Muscat.
Officials from the Ministry of Transport and Aviation stated that expanding air routes could facilitate Afghanistan’s access to regional and international markets and make passenger travel easier.
However, further details regarding the start dates of these flights and the companies involved have not yet been announced, with efforts reportedly continuing in this regard.
