Pakistani Police Officer and Family Killed in Armed Attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Local sources report that in the Sarai Nurang district of Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, armed assailants attacked the home of a Pakistani police officer, set it on fire, and killed him along with his family members.
According to local police, the attack was carried out by dozens of armed men targeting the residence of an individual named Dostgir Khan. After storming the house, the attackers set the building ablaze and then murdered its occupants.
Reports indicate that the assailants tortured the police officer and his family members before killing them; however, no further details about the nature of the incident or the exact number of victims have been provided.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack. This incident comes just days after reports emerged of armed assaults on the homes of three Pakistani military personnel in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, during which the attackers also seized weapons and cash.
