OIC Human Rights Official Meets EU Special Representative for Afghanistan

Hadi bin Ali Al-Yami, Executive Director of the Permanent Independent Commission for Human Rights of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), met and held talks with Gilles Bertrand, the European Union’s Special Representative for Afghanistan.

During the meeting, both parties focused on ways to expand bilateral cooperation in the field of human rights and emphasized the importance of coordination among international institutions in this area.

According to released information, the discussions mainly centered on exchanging views and strengthening working interactions between the OIC and the European Union regarding the human rights situation in Afghanistan.
