Trump Claims Signs of Progress in Ukraine-Russia Conflict

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has once again stated that the US is on the right track regarding developments related to the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, and according to him, there are signs of progress.

In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Trump said Washington has achieved “good progress” in this matter and suggested that positive news could be released soon. Without providing further details, he described the current situation as satisfactory.

These remarks come amidst recent tensions between the US and some European countries over issues including Ukraine and Greenland. However, the US president claimed that relations between Washington and Europe are “excellent” and stated that European countries provide significant financial support to the US.

Trump also emphasized his country’s military power, adding that the US possesses the most advanced military equipment and sells this equipment to the NATO alliance. At the same time, he sounded a warning tone, saying Europe should be cautious, as some believe the continent faces uncertainty due to issues such as migration and energy.

These claims come as Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, has announced that his country is ready to take concrete steps towards achieving peace and wishes for the war to end.
