Snow and Rain Expected in Balkh, Jowzjan, and Herat on Monday

The Meteorological Department of the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has announced that, based on forecasts, there is a possibility of snowfall and rain tomorrow, Monday, in the provinces of Balkh, Jowzjan, and Herat.

According to the announcement, changing weather conditions could cause rainfall in some areas and snowfall in the higher regions of these provinces; a situation that may affect daily travel and local activities.

Balkh and Jowzjan are located in northern Afghanistan, and Herat is in the west of the country. During winter, these regions typically experience weather fluctuations, including seasonal precipitation. Meteorological officials have urged residents of these provinces to take the weather developments into consideration.
