Pashtun Elders Hold Joint Meeting in Nangarhar to Support Taliban Administration

Dozens of Pashtun tribal elders, scholars, and influential figures from Nangarhar, Laghman, Nuristan, Kunar, and Kapisa provinces gathered in Nangarhar for a joint meeting.
Organizers of the meeting stated that the purpose of the gathering was to strengthen ethnic coordination and to express support for the Taliban administration.
Participants said that coordination among ethnic groups can be effective in managing local issues and reducing tensions in various regions.
This comes amid ongoing serious criticism within Afghanistan and from international bodies toward the Taliban administration over the past more than three years, due to extensive political and social restrictions, particularly regarding genuine participation of ethnic groups and citizens in decision-making processes.
